Upon agreement of the Sharia Board of the Fund, the manager utilises the following screening criteria in order to exclude those companies from the starting universe that are not compliant with Islamic investment principles:

Industries, Product lines not allowed in the Islamic Universe: Gambling, Night Clubs, Casinos, Tobacco, Breweries, Hotels, Banks, Insurance, Airlines, Department Stores.

Debt to total assets value ratio < 30% Total receivables plus cash of the investee company should not exceed 49% of the book value of the total assets.

Net interest income to total income ratio < 5%
